St Pat’s Old Boy and New Zealand-born former Samoan international, Wellington Lion and veteran of 131 games for Bath, Zak Feaunati will play Jonah Lomu.

Other stars include Morgan Freeman as Mandela and Matt Damon as Springbok captain Francois Pienaar.

The movie, “The Human Factor” is Clint Eastwood’s dramatisation of the 1995 Rugby World Cup and tells the story of how Nelson Mandela used rugby to unite South Africa.

“I had to talk about myself for the casting director, and then she asked me to do the haka. I might have scared one or two of the ladies, but I guess it did the trick,” Isaac told the BBC.

Isaac was originally approached about his interest in the part by old mate, Bath prop and Rugby Players Association chairman, David Barnes.

Initially, Isaac thought it was a prank.

The College Board of Proprietors has pleasure in announcing the appointment of Mrs Loretta Love as the inaugural Development Manager. Loretta will begin work effective from 23 March 2009. The role of the Development Manager is to oversee and coordinate the financial development and fund raising programmes for the Proprietor and College community, and to work with the 125 year Jubilee committee to prepare for the celebrations in June 2010.
